Unclaimed Property Auctions Returning to State Fair Jul 12 2017 You can take home lost treasure this year at the State Fair of West Virginia, August 10-19, 2017. During a select five days of the fair, the State Treasurer’s Office will be holding LIVE Unclaimed Property Auctions right there at the fairgrounds. The auctions will take place at the Treasurer’s Office booth in the West Virginia building, just inside the main entrance. With a variety of collectibles, knives, jewelry, coins, and more, there is sure to be something for everyone, but with just five auctions, you have to be there ready to bid if you want to take one of these treasures home.
